>8 HIMARS caused the collapse of the Russian army in Ukraine
>US Army operates ~400 and is planning for ~200 more
>USMC operates ~50 and is planning for ~100 more
>Romania operates 54
>Australia wants 20
>Germany wants 100
>Poland wants 50
>Estonia wants 12
>Finland wants 36
To be fair, this conflict was an excellent marketing scheme
Oh, hi Mars
To be fair, you also need a large supply of the missiles to be effective.
Having the mobile platform is a good first step, but if you only buy 100 missiles for your dozen or two dozen HIMARS that won't really sustain you through a longer conflict.
I have to imagine Ukraine is shooting a few dozen missiles every day at this point. Enough to quickly exhaust what most smaller countries could readily afford.
>Estonia wants 12
Estonia is poor and small in number, it should focus on weaponizing civilian size drones and focus on guerilla tactics, not chase the latest craze.
well with even half that they could have enough firepower to hold off a major russian advance
>latest craze
>Self propelled MLRS have been in use since 1941
what did he mean by this
>focus on guerilla tactics
Black person thats their whole doctrine
All you have to do is put a bit of panelling and tarpaulin on to look like a normal truck and it's a guerrilla superweapon
We are so small we wont have a rear and logistics, the whole nation will be a frontline. We should actually invest in nuclear Samson option like based Israel.
Estonia is just stockpiling to be the first in line for weapon donations when russia chimps out again
France sure loves to talk shit and not do a damn thing.
>France sure loves to talk
Da
Can't see Italy here but they sent a ton. Although maybe it was all too secret because Draghi did not want to publicize weapons of war (that would be against Italy's constitution)
Did we? Between the leftard politicians that are literally paid off by Russia and that moron Salvini i figured we got stuck in bureaucratic mud.
>leftard politicians that are literally paid off by Russia
The projection is insane, as usual. Either a glavset drone or a skullfricked /misc/troon.
>illiterate Black person can’t read second half of sentence
Both sides of the Italian political spectrum are Russian shills, just in different ways. Control your seethe.
Oh I thought you said it was only the libshits. Good thing you turned your argument like your mom turns tricks. Nice save.
>Nice save
My original post literally calls out both sides, dumbass. I think everyone but a few limited politicians called for the sanctions to remain in place. One being the woman.
We did send a secret weapon delivery. Trains upon trains of top secret materials that officially went to 'Slovakia'. Then there were pictures here of Iveco trucks used in Ukraine so I don't know.
With finland in NATO it really doesnt need to
I am John Smithov from Nebraska Oblast. I agree that Estonia should never buy HIMARS or we all die in nuclear fire.
Very accurate missiles aren't a meme
I thought Poland wanted 500?
They do. OP made an oopsie.
That's 10 o clock dumb frick
The US would just use their air force to obliterate the enemy in most situations.
Also Finland has like 40 M270s already
Reminder
needs longer
Catherine from Sankt Francisco here, could someone explain to me the meaning of this part?
Its the grip zone for forklifts
Fork lifts? Do have dinner on those things?
They're forbidden NATO dark magic that allows you to not run out of supplies.
shhhhh Be quiet, do not reveal the secrets of western technology!
Attack 'Ems!
I find it funny that the HIMARS have made such a huge impact on the war. It's literally just a GPS guided rocket. It's technology we've had for decades.
Russian logistics turned out to not have advanced since WWI. That made them vulnerable to smokers.
When you fight with trenches and human wave attacks and tube artillery directed by scouts in BMP-1's and iranian drones, it's pretty lethal
>Poland wants 50
More like 500
Didn't Ukraine request 100 of these?
Also 40 Australian Bushmasters did this too.
what i find hilarious is that HIMARS launchers have been broadcasting their exact firing location multiple times per night, for months, and none has been found and destroyed by the supposed superpower. that's fricking funny.
If the vatniks lose this we Italians no longer have the biggest military embarrassment, right? This is literally worse than Greece.
So I'm not familiar with rocket launchers. Is there anything in particular about the HIMARS that makes it superior to other delivery systems? Or was it a case of the right weapon against the right enemy?
Superior range that Russia cannot counter
High mobility.
Part of it is accuracy. Inside an 80km+ radius you can put 6 individual 200lb warheads where you want them within a few meters. Think an strike machine without the airplane.
You combine that with NATO satellites, loitering drones and Ukraine's human intelligence in occupied territories and what have is every Russian target of value in occupied Ukraine being dunked on constantly.
The combination, range, accuracy and the ability to quickly drive off and hide after a launch that makes them a headache, but it's the NATO/Ukraine intelligence networks ability to find targets that makes them a nightmare.
If Russia got HIMARS they wouldn't know what to do with them and would probably just bomb cities...
Ukraine has HIMARS and not other precision MLRS. Even ukrainian Vilkha would've worked just fine if ukies had any rockets for it, not to mention something like K239.
According to the Special forces commander Roman Kostenko it was of mediocre importance.
HIMARS isn't a wunderwaffe. Pic related are comparable systems. Russia and its allies are just shit.
>This rocket can hit a point on the map
>for Russians is Wunderwaffe
Can't make this shit up.
>Coming up Next: a tank that does not jam after 2 rounds??? Whaaaat?
HIMARS isn't the wunderwaffe; the missiles it fires are.
Poland wants 500 and germs won’t get any, those traitors will get killed soon
