      Cool bait.
      Now check Constellation frigate prices.

Constellation is more expensive because it's more capable. This is closer to the LCS. It's half the price and can probably go a whole month without breaking down though, so that's a pretty big upgrade over the LCS.

          >Constellation is more expensive because it's more capable
          You sure about that?
          >The “unplanned weight growth” of ten percent or more from June 2020 to October of 2023 on the Constellation-class frigate may require the Navy to shed propulsion capability and in turn reduce the ship’s top speed to allow the warships to have the margin the service needs for future upgrades
          >The report comes as the Constellation-class frigate program receives increased scrutiny in Congress after the Navy disclosed earlier this year that the lead ship may deliver three years late.
          >Those modifications have taken the commonality between the Constellation-class and the FREMM from 85 percent down to 15 percent, USNI News previously reported
          >The Navy gave Fincantieri the go-ahead to begin building the lead ship in the class in August of 2022. At the time, a service official said the detail design of the ship was just over 80 percent complete. But in April, when the Navy disclosed that the lead ship in the class could deliver in 2029 instead of the planned delivery in 2026, service officials said the detail design was about 80 percent complete

Bow and hull looks good, mast looks like a mosque tower similar to the new French carrier image.

            Yeah, PA-NG looks weird.
            It is so long.
But I guess you can tell a French navy without too much eye work.

    >The cost of a Mogami-class frigate is estimated to be around ¥50-60 billion (Japanese yen), which is approximately $318-381.5 million USD, based on the current exchange rate (1 USD = 157.26 JPY).
    How did they do it?

French shipyards won't charge France the same as foreigners.

Considering that barebones T54A costs 250 to 300 million, no.

You guys will be disappointed forever if you’re worried about cost. There’s only a handful of Western military shipbuilders and they know they have a captive market so they will continually find excuses to inflate costs. So, either accept it or go back to public shipyards.
