Talk to me about the effectiveness of .38 special and its use in a revolver of picrel in self defense scenarios.
Then let's discuss how much less effective one would be using picrel against a 7 round single stack 1911 in 45acp

You must be the bro that got buttblasted about concealed carry revolvers. Look, if Paul Harrell or some revolver guy stole your gf I'm sorry, but that doesn't make .38 special snubbies any less valid for concealed carry, personal protection, or home defense.
Buy the thing you want, gay. Pretty much no common thing short of a Derringer is obsolete and even then that's because most of them are SA and even then an SA 9mm is infinitely better than no gun. I carry a G42 and feel just fine. Once revolver prices get less insane I'll be adding an SP101 to my carry pieces.
I get more blowjobs with my revolver. A worthwhile tradeoff. Chicks dig cowboys.
That revolver sucks and has a different trigger pull for each chamber and a barrel literally crowned with a band saw due to import stuff, I’d rather have a Raven or Jimenez than that piece of shit.
short barrel .38spl is adequate with defense ammo.
>handier than most size 1911s
>dont have to deal with single action only bullshit
>can fire the most garbage of garbage out of a revolver where 1911's tend to be picky eaters
but no mags is a huge downside, even if speed loaders are "fine"
another downside is there are some CHEAP revolvers out there and that quality comes out.
rock island m203 aint rated for +p ammo tho
It actually is. Says so on their website. Still wouldn’t recommend one tho.
If you want a cheap revolver get a charter arms
that's what the new york reload is for
very true
thats more comparable to a hipoint than a 1911
because it's descended from .38 long colt which is descended from .38 short colt which is descended from the colt 1851 navy
quoted wrong post
so just make something new. what happened 170 years shouldnt matter now
why do you keep making threads trashing .38 special
just don't buy one
because you're left with 22LR if you want a tiny revolver
.32 H&R Magnum and .327 Federal Magnum exist
>.327 Federal Magnum exist
Well, it certainly DID exist.
I’ve seen no proof in form of guns or ammo so I’ll label it a firearm cryptid.
>7.62x38mmR
why is the 38 special case so long if its so weak?
black powder sizes
I own the m206 and I regularly disobey the law.
I have one of these. Very consistent gun. My only qualm is that the hammer pinches the web of my thumb when I use the small wooden grips.
so why not make a smaller round for a smaller gun then whilst having the same power?
because instead of doing that they kept adding power to .38 til it was .357
how many .38 specials do you think you can take?
how many .45 ACPs do you think you can take?
1 and 1 for incap
boolets hurt
alright, we've determined that both will be expected to be effective. now pick whatever you want.
so long as it isn't pic rel we'll be fine
.38 spc's kill count speaks for itself.
The primary use of revolvers in current year is a firearm that leaves no cases behind. Make use of this what you will.
