Now that Russia has been exposed as a joke, which nation has the best military manufacturing excluding America?
South Korea and Israel come to mind. And perhaps France.

'Europe'
Singling out a single country is impossible because all parts are linked. A turbine from Rolls Royce can be made out of 80% German parts, put together in France. Optics from France uses lenses from Germany that they produce in the Czech Republic to make British range finders.
/thread
and for this reason, the 2nd best is STILL Russia, because they do practically everything in-house and aren't dependent on 50 different countries to manufacture their military hardware.
Russias is on par with Iran.
Less dependency suddenly make you yhe best industry?
They use European stuff in their top-tier arms, they can't even build modern tanks anymore without good optics etc. They have't done anything good since the Soviet Union collapsed and all their intelligent people and slave-republics bailed to the West the first chance they got.
They are reduced to building WW 2 tier equipment. Which matches well with their WW 2 tactics and mindset.
source?
>They are reduced to building WW 2 tier equipment. Which matches well with their WW 2 tactics and mindset.
Kadyrovites on the west bank of the Dniepr are ordered to shoot and kill and orc trying to flee from Kherson.
Putler sure restored the soviet union kek
Such an argument is redundant as parts never make the whole thing anyway. Putting together the parts is the real deal.
This is stupid. UK, Germany, France etc. all sell their components to non-European companies as much as they do within Europe.
The BAE/MBDA complex, probably
>ASRAAM, MICA, Meteor
>CAMM, Aster, Seawolf
>Storm Shadow, Exocet, Brimstone
>Milan, MMP
>ASMP, Dreadnought
>Typhoon
>Type 26, Astute, QE
>Challenge, Warrior, SA80
>M109, Archer, M777
Frick they're scary
it's a one-stop army shop
Europe for quality China for quantity
Lol europe for quality is laughable
In terms of quality its South Korea and maybe the US, that is why most of the SK military equipment sells for more than the US which sells for more than Europe, European weapons are usually cheap from a cost perspective, its considered discount weapons
That said, the UK, France and Germany have very advanced components that the US and South Korea use in their weapons systems
Sadly its probably China, China is what the world used to think what Russia was, a large military industrial complex across all military related areas but with quality and technology lagging behind the advanced economies.
In Europe France is probably the most capable but they have historically been a notch below the US or even the Germans in terms of technology and why their stuff is only bought by third world nations that are restricted or unable to buy US equipment.
SK is a relatively new entrant in the large scale military industrial complex business but they have proven that whatever they produce is usually the most advanced technology + quality build at a higher level than even the US in addition to production capabilities on a wartime footing scale even during peacetime.
Germany could be world class but there does not appear to be a national desire to be a military power despite announcing plans to increase their defense budget to $100 billion.
Japan has the potential but they are massively restricted by the US and are at this point several decades behind with no real infrastructure for a proper military industrial complex.
Russia is declining rapidly and other than possessing nukes will end up no different from an Iran within a decade.
Israel is good in selected areas and technologies like really good but they simply don't have the scale to compete for mic supremacy, even their merkava which is probably the largest weapons systems they produce is barely a top 10 mbt today
Today its: US >>>>> China >>> SK > France > Germany > UK > Russia > Japan > Italy > Israel > Turkey > Sweden > Spain > India > Pakistan
Could you explain why you ranked Spain above India?
Spain does not have a real military industrial complex but they have partnered with many European countries on major weapons systems so by default have both knowledge and capabilities that are in excess of India, India is very behind from a technology perspective and the quality of their production is way behind as well
Interesting, thanks. I knew Spain sometimes sells vehicles and that's it.
NTA, but the Spanish have Navantia, whereas India can barely build an assault rifle without fricking up
it ain't much but it's something
get thee behind me Satan
nearly everything you wrote is wrong
Every weapons system that Europe makes is cheap as shit compared to US and many of SK equipment, examples
Main battle tanks: the K2 costs $9 million per unit, the M1A2 costs $8 million per unit, the Leopard 2 costs $6 million per unit, the Challenger costs $5 million per unit, the Leclerc costs $4 million per unit
Assault rifles: the daewoo K2 is $800 per unit, the M4 is $700 per unit, the hk416 is $450 per unit
where on earth did you get such laughable pricelists from
>Leopard 2
which model and in what year, moron
>Challenger
5 million?! get fricked; the Brits are spending 5 million POUNDS just to upgrade their existing tank fleet never mind build new ones
>Leclerc
$4 million was probably the cost to upgrade the fricking things, they cost about twice that in the 90s, not counting said upgrade
everybody knows that the main problem with the European defence industry is high cost especially per unit because the US has massive fricking economies of scale; and that SK is becoming the Western world's cheapshit weapon supplier selling last-gen weapons for cheaper than the West can make them
that is why more nations are buying US weapons (PGMs, artillery, Abrams, F-35) and SK weapons (artillery, IFVs, FA-50, even ships) instead of existing European weapons or developing new European projects
Dumbass homosexual lol the whole world considers european weapons cheap as shit, its not the 1980s anymore and why only third world shitholes that can't afford US or SK equipment by europoor weapons
Even first world european countries next door to places like Germany, UK and France won't touch european "advanced" weapons anymore and are all lining up for US and SK equipment
The Leopard 2A7 is about $10 million per unit but there are around 30 in the world that are actually operating, its like the US or SK claiming some of their nextgen mbts can be sold for $20+ million because they probably have more operational in development than the amount of 2A7s
The Challenger 3 just transacted for $8 million per unit but there are only 148 lol, a proper tank army is 1000+ minimum, the Challenger 2 may as well be a pickup truck with reinforced armor by today's standards
The leclerc is more difficult to gauge market price because nobody buys this piece of shit, but the French army paid about $4 million per unit and its used by the Yemenis in the Yemen war and they paid even less than that, literally only 860 units in its entire history
In modern mbt tank warfare a nation has to be able to produce 3000+ tanks a year at full capacity to be effective, today only three countries can do that: the US, China and SK, and the China tanks are almost as bad as the leclercs, the SK tanks are the most expensive but can pump out thousands every year without breaking a sweat
>upgrades = buying new
Stay in school
* Used by UAE in Yemen against the Yemeni, the UAE paid $4 million per unit and the Yemeni are taking out the Leclercs with rifle fire targeting the optical systems lol
t. Seething asiatic
> When delusional frenchie completely owned by France getting mogged by SK so utterly speechless that unhinged rants about muh fellow homosexualgaygay frenchies got nothing else to say except claim others are seething just because this frog is lmao rent free
>european weapons cheap as shit
>FA-50, 60 mil
>Typhoon, 100mil
get a load of this chigger
> The FA-50 designed as a trainer but has among the best real world track records in combat situations being compared with the Typhoon a 4.5 gen fighter is when you know the FA-50 is good or the Typhoon is overrated or both
Most of the countries using the Typhoon are clamoring to buy the F35
The best in the industry is the F35 followed by the KF21, the KF21 block 1 (4.5 gen, 2026, $75 million), block 2 with iwb (5.0 gen, 2028, $100 million) and block 3 with integrated AI + laser gun (6.0 gen, 2035, $250+ million)
>being compared with the Typhoon a 4.5 gen fighter is when you know
the country doesn't have jack shit else besides vapourware
>hurr durr laser gun 250 million
RTS-tier price lists lmao
Lmao best main battle tank, mobile artillery, infantry fighting vehicle, mlrs, assault rifle the list goes on, most expensive in the world for each of these also
SK new entrant in aerospace but in a few years already have a 4.5 gen jet fighter, they development timetable has them at 5 gen and gen within a few years and SK always exceeds timetable development, meanwhile euro always delays and won't have a proper 5 gen fighter until 2050+ lololol homosexual go back to sucking nafri wiener while you got trains of black wiener unloading up your loose euro butthole, the kanake gangs are busy sex slaving your women by the millions lmao
In all seriousness western europe was pretty badass from the 1960s and before completely mogging north africa and the middle east, but everybody kind of laughs in their head everytime they meet a euro today knowing how badly they are cucked and having their former colonies colonizing them on their home soil even worse with absolutely no response from the eurocucks, this is the true reason why nobody takes anything that western europeans do in terms of combat seriously anymore, turkey is even way ahead from a real world perspective
>most expensive in the world for each of these also
>the whole world considers european weapons cheap as shit
pick, schizo chigger
There are only 430 Leclercs in operations today, France has 200, the UAE has 350, and Jordan has 80 which they got for free from UAE lol, nobody buys this piece of shit
The distance between first and second is so vast that it's not a useful description.
It's more like "1st, 40 empty spaces, then everyone else"
