19 is better in every respect

      >He thinks it's Glock vs 1911
      >Not the reality that both are the premier handguns

      Dagger or Micro Dagger?

        Whichever size you like better

Neither. PSA is poverty trash with abysmal quality control. You would have to change the slide, the striker, and the trigger just to get anything remotely reliable and decent and by that point, you might as well spent the money on a Glock or another polymer 9.

19 if you want an optic for it because all the optics that fit on a 43x are kinda meh
if you don't want an optic, the thinness of the 43x is pretty nice
they're nearly identical in every dimension other than width

19 or 26. 43x is moronic and big gay

      >26
Some of us have human sized hands and don't want our pinkies and part of our ring fingers grasping onto nothing

There are mags with pinkie extensions on them. Furthermore with the g26 you can just slap in an extendo when you travel to MLk blvd. The 43x nullifies the cross compatibility you have with all the other glocks

If I'm going to MLK Blvd, I'm not taking a 26. I'm probably not even taking a 19. If there was ever a time for a full sized handgun, it's for when you're down visiting the diverse part of the city.

Shield arms extended mags are 20 rounds. I’m a Roland Special gay and using a 32 round mag is unwieldy, 20 rounds is the best.

19 has high capacity and cheap magazines, magazine compatibility with PCCs and robust aftermarket.

43x is thinner and lighter making it comfier to EDC and is my choice for EDC.

    >"OR", why?
    Exactly

Go shoot both and find out yourself. Some people think the 43x is too snappy, others don't mind it due to the increased comfort of carrying. I will say, I wouldn't put trust on the third party magazines though, some of them have problems, so consider it a ten round shooter.

    34. Longslides are the only reason to buy a Glock at all.

43x only works because Shield mags. Save yourself some money…G3C is 12rds, takes 15, 17rd mags, steel Mec-Gar mags from the G3.

10rds should be enough, especially if you get a holster that can carry a spare. I wouldn't consider shield mags reliable, and at the very least they can be difficult to find and expensive. Last time I checked they were $30 for one and sold out.

After 40 years of development, Glock has gone full circle and just remade the same gun as what they started with, but now it's 1/8th of an inch thinner. The fact that we're sitting here discussing this minor difference shows that handguns have been figured out a long time ago and you should just buy what you like. If I had to choose between the two, I would take the 19 because it feels better in my hand than the thinner 43x.

the only practical improvement in decades is that you can put an optic on the 43x if you want

Doyou think the upgraded Gen5 trigger spring is that beneficial?

The trigger is just a preference option, if you want the trigger because you dislike the Glock trigger, by all means try it. It's an OEM part, I usually recommend people to not frick with their triggers on striker fired handguns due to the trigger being one of the main safeties of the firearm, but that one should be safe.
