        >Episode Title: Sharpe's Gambit

        >Synopsis:
        >In "Sharpe's Gambit," Major Richard Sharpe and his trusted friend, Sergeant Patrick Harper, are tasked with a daring mission behind enemy lines in occupied Spain. The British forces need to gather critical intelligence on the French army's movements, and Sharpe and Harper are the perfect duo for the job.

        >The episode begins with Sharpe and Harper disguised as Spanish civilians, infiltrating a French-held town. Posing as wine merchants, they make contact with a local resistance group led by the resourceful Isabella (guest star Penélope Cruz). Isabella, with her intimate knowledge of the town, agrees to assist them.

        >As Sharpe and Harper gather information, they uncover a French plot to ambush a British supply convoy. With time running out, they must race against the clock to warn their comrades and prevent a disastrous defeat. Their journey is fraught with peril, from narrow escapes to intense shootouts with French patrols.

        >Meanwhile, tensions rise as Harper forms a connection with Isabella, leading to a moral dilemma for Sharpe. Can he trust their newfound ally, or is she playing a double game? The episode explores themes of trust and betrayal against the backdrop of war.

        >Ultimately, Sharpe and Harper's gamble pays off, and they manage to avert the ambush, saving the convoy and earning the respect of their comrades. The episode ends with a bittersweet farewell to Isabella, as the duo continues their relentless fight against the French in the name of King and Country.

          >Sharpe (Sean Bean):
"Harper, keep your head down! We're in the thick of it now."
          >Harper (Daragh O'Malley):
"Aye, Sharpe. No worries there. I'll pick 'em off one by one."
          >Sharpe:
"We need to take out that French officer. He's rallyin' 'em up."
          >Harper:
"On it, Sharpe. I'll send him to meet Napoleon himself."
          >Sharpe:
"That's the spirit, Harper. Let's give these Frenchmen a taste of British steel."
          >Harper:
"And a bit of Irish lead for good measure!"

          ...

          >Wellington (David Troughton):
"Gentlemen, the situation is dire. Our supply convoys are being ambushed, and our troops are in need of reinforcements. Major Sharpe and Sergeant Harper, you're the best I have. Your mission is to gather intelligence behind enemy lines. Find out where the French are planning their attacks and their numbers."

          >Hogan (Brian Cox):
"Indeed, gentlemen, we need precise information. Sharpe, you've proven your resourcefulness in the past. Harper, your sharpshooting skills will be invaluable. Infiltrate the town, make contact with the local resistance, and extract the information we need."

          >Sharpe:
"Aye, sir. We'll do our best."

          >Harper:
"You can count on us, sir."

          >Wellington:
"Remember, Sharpe, Harper, discretion is crucial. We cannot afford to alert the French to your presence. This mission is of the utmost importance to our efforts in Spain."

          >Hogan:
"And do watch each other's backs. Good luck, gentlemen."

          >Harper:
"Right you are, Major Hogan. We'll get the job done."

            >Sharpe:
"Lass, that's a risky move. We'd be out in the open, vulnerable. We need to gather more information first."

            >Harper:
(With an Irish twinkle in his eye) "Ah, Isabella, the Major's right. A wise man said, 'Look before you leap.' We can't be runnin' headlong into trouble without knowin' what we're up against."

            >Isabella:
Exasperated "You British and your caution! Sometimes, you just have to seize the moment."

            >Sharpe:
"Aye, but there's a fine line between courage and recklessness. We'll proceed carefully, then make our move."

            >Harper:
With a grin "Well, you know what they say, Isabella, 'A patient man eats ripe fruit.'"

            >Isabella:
(Rolling her eyes) "Very well, we'll do it your way, Major Sharpe. But don't say I didn't warn you."

            ...

            >Isabella
"Major Sharpe, you must understand, I am loyal to this cause. Mi palabra es mi honor, my word is my honor."

            >Sharpe:
(With a hint of skepticism) "Words can be as elusive as the wind, lass. Actions speak louder."

            >Harper:
"Now, now, no need for tension. Isabella, we'll trust you, but trust is earned."

            >Isabella:
(Annoyed) "¡Maldición! These British and their distrust. I'll prove myself, you'll see."

            >Sharpe:
"I hope you're not feedin' us a pack of lies, lass."

            >Harper:
"Let's not be at each other's throats. We're all on the same side here."

                It's actually very generic.
I've tried getting it to do a couple of Law & Order episodes. It runs out of ideas in about 10 plots.

Also, the AI has been gimped. A few months ago I managed to get it to agree to play the part of an IRA terrorist group and agree to execute an informer. Now, that quite innocuous last scene above was flagged for Content Warning.

gpt 3.5 turbo is practically useless now. You can run an AI within spitting distance of it using smartphone hardware or blow it out of the water with gaming grade desktop hardware.

This changes on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. Right now zephyr-beta is all the rage because it's a 7B parameter model that's just as good (if not better) than 13B models. You can run it on a phone and it generates words at human readable speed.
If you have a gpu with 10GB+ vram then 13B-TieFigher is the best uncensored model right now. If not then zephyr is still the best you'll just be generating at blazing fast speed with gpu acceleration.

(With a hint of sadness) "Hasta luego, Major Sharpe, Sergeant Harper. Until we meet again."

I mean, Sharpe has some pretty decent stories if one can get into them but they get pretty formulaic as soon as you read more than a few of them.

On the other hand it's the best depiction of how Napoleonic warfare worked that I've read.
The show was crippled with its non existent budget but held up by it's incredible cast and pure soul

        >a soldier in the British Army. He was described as being tall, with a huge belly, and a long, scrawny neck which sported a huge scar. He had jaundiced skin, giving him a yellowish cast, baby-blue eyes, and blond hair going grey that was thin over a scarred scalp. He feared nothing, truly believed he could not die, and thoroughly hated Sharpe as a man who did not fear him, and as an upstart. For him, officers were born, not made
He survived hanging, tigers, battles. But sharpe got him in the end.
